Below are the instructions on how to access the Checkpoint database (on and off-campus):

  • Direct the student to Databases by Title (A-Z) 
  • Under the letter "C" point at the Checkpoint (Registration) link. This is where they would be able to register using their Indiana Tech email address.
  • After the registration is complete, they will be receiving an email with the temporary password and an access link. 
  • The same access link (to the database itself) is also provided under our A-Z list and is called Checkpoint (Database). See below:

 

  • Student credentials will expire at the end of each semester, and they will have to re-register once again. 

Important side notes:

  • When registering, the student will have to choose one of the options (see below). Both lead to the same outcome.

 

  • Sometimes clicking on the registration link gives you or the student 400 - Bad Request errorThe remedy to please clear your browser cache.
